BLUE HOUND FARM is a 70+ -Acre Farm located in York County, Pennsylvania, approximately 10 miles North of York, PA., and 15 miles South of Harrisburg, PA. Easy access to Interstate 83, the Pennsylvania turnpike, Route 382 and Route 114 makes the Farm available for many regions of children in the Area. We specialize in agricultural education, horse riding, care, management, and Summer Horse Camp
In most areas for most children, farmers and farming have developed an almost mythical quality about them. Many children play with toys that are farm-related, but never get to visit a farm. It is our belief that a hands-on farm experience is important for children to learn about animals and crops. Farming has allowed generations of children to take responsibility into their own hands to care for another being or animal. We provide this by trying to educate and empower young people and aide in the development of positive self-esteem. BLUE HOUND FARM offers a safe and nurturing environment where all children can experience an exciting learning adventure from nature and animals.
